Increment of fees with 5% for MBA Admissions-2011The Indian Institute Of Management,Ahmedabad (IIM-A) is going to revised its fees for it’s a variety of courses through approximately 5% for the batches beginning in 2011.With the increment of the fees up to 5% the new fee structure for the institutes flagship programme PGP is Rs. 14.45 lakhs from the batch of 2011-2013.
The fees of PGP programme of the college is not going to be changed for the batch 2010-2012 batch students. The student of the previous year registered have to deposit the fixed previous year fees structure but the coming students (new admitted students) have to pay the new revised fees structure (5% increased fees structure) to the institute.
On the other hand the fees for the one-year programme in management for executives (PGPX) is also going to be increased with Rs 1 lakh.Now the new revised fees structure for the programme in management for executives will be Rs. 20.31 lakhs.
The Director of Indian Institute Of Management,Ahmedabad named Samir Barua told about the increment of fees of IIM-A that “Fees have been revised due to inflation.” According to him, yet the revision does not write with the inflation rate so as to reasonable the collision on students families who will be paying the fees. He also told that this incremented fees or this revised fees is due to the growthing rate of inflation.
According to him, The business school does not want to receive the financial support to run its programme because in his openion such financing is incomplete to developing communications for helpful students under the other backward classes quota.
According to the report from Institute that the growth of services to house OBC students will be completed in this year 2011-2012 for the PGP programme students and for the PGPX programme students it will be completed in 2012-2013.
